If you have had any experience in public relations or marketing, you probably know how well press releases can work. There are many, many companies who have increased sales by 100%-300% in a matter of months simply through using press releases.

Most people dont know how to write them, distribute them, or use them to their advantage in general. Im not going to describe how to write them in this article, thats for another day. However, I will outline the plan that I have used to generate literally millions of dollars in free publicity and advertising for my clients. It is a special program that I call the 24 week total publicity plan.

This plan works by using publicity to get your clicks and links, which will also boost your standing in most search engines. Furthermore, by sending out enough press releases, you are virtually guaranteeing that you will get a fair amount published and get some awesome publicity.

If you havent guessed how the plan works, it works like this. The first week, you look over articles from your industry on e-zines, websites and trade publications. You then come up with 26 different ideas for articles and press releases. You then write them in batches of 5 and start submitting one each week.

You will want to plan ahead for certain seasonal ideas. For example, if you are in the construction business, put out an article or press release describing winter care for your house in the late fall and one on air conditioning as summer starts to come. Timeliness will ensure getting more articles and press releases published and will help your publicity plan in general.

If you have a problem with writing, youre not alone. There are many people who want to use public relations to their advantage but they simply cannot write for the job, or dont have the time. The Internet is coming to the rescue, though, because there are many people that are happy to ghostwrite your articles or press releases for a reasonable fee.

Lighter bats are more expensive, while heavier bats are usually thicker and made from a cheaper-grade aluminum. Longer youth baseball bats arm the player with more plate coverage, but they also weigh more. Shorter bats are faster but may force the batter to crowd the plate in order to reach the outside edge of the strike zone. Also consider the size of the barrel. A larger barrel wields more power and has a bigger sweet spot, yet the larger barrel requires more mass, and so it is heavier. Often selecting a bat is an imperfect science because you can?t really hit a ball in a store, or even really swing the bat for that matter. You might even try going out to a local baseball practice or batting cage. Then you can try many different bats, actually making contact with the ball, and get a much more accurate picture of what bat works for your son or daughter. Little League baseball bats should not be more than 33 inches long or more than 2 1/4 inches in diameter at the barrel. Little League baseball bats should be taped around the handle and up 10 inches. Bats are measured in inches for length and ounces for weight. Minus numbers are used to show a bat?s measurements. For example, if a bat is 33 inches long and has a (-10) rating, that means the bat weighs 23 ounces. So the higher the negative number than the lighter the bat is for its length. Why Direct Marketing in China is Different

I've been doing B2B (business to business) direct marketing throughout the Asia-Pacific region for the last seven years (including China).I've seen many Western marketers ask me about what are some good China mailing lists? Should we do our own list research for names in China?Here are my thoughts and tips:

People and businesses in China are moving (changing addresses) at a regular pace. (just read this article on CRM in China). So no, no matter who's telling you that they have a great China list, I don't believe them. I know mailing lists for China can only be good for maybe 4-5 months at best (especially b2b).I DO think that using direct email marketing (gathering your own lists rather than renting external lists) may be better, especially due to the high penetration of broadband use in the major citiesRenting email lists in general is already a shot in the dark. Renting China email lists is even worse. There are no real standards in terms of data privacy and most of these so called lists (they'll tell you they're all legitimate) are harvested from websites or compiled in a not so proper manner. You'll find that emailing to these lists can increase the odds of you being marked as a SPAMMER and your complaints. There are a few that are worth a try and are legitimate. (i.e. 51mymail)They don't or can't arrange mail forwarding services which means mailing them to their last known address will not get your mail forwarded to your target.Address labels in English needs to be translated into Simplified ChineseList researched names can often be completely out of date by the time you finish the list researching project due to the rapid movement of people and businesses.Mail deliverability is still unstable – we've had situations where it took three to four months before the person actually received the promo – in Shanghai too!It's not just a matter of taking your direct mail package and translating it into Chinese and sticking a picture of just any Asian looking model into the package (Just watch the latest Memoirs of a Geisha movie – very Hollywood – half the main cast were not Japanese but Chinese – not that it would make a difference in Westerner's eyes, but Asians know the difference)If you're unsure of where to start for your direct mail campaign into China, try working with Hong Kong based suppliers who know the market better and have more contacts in China.

Savings are only as useful as your desire to apply them to a specific purpose. If your goal is a new home, great; if it’s to send the kids to Fordham, even better; and if it’s retirement, terrific. Once you have the “why,” you must determine “how much,” and “when.” These two variables will determine how aggressive you must be, as well as how much of a present sacrifice you’ll need to make in order to reach your goal.2) Spend less than you earn! If you’re a bit late in the game with this one, then the first order of business is to minimize your debt. The common American philosophy is to spend first, and save what’s left.
