You rack your brain daily thinking of a way to make extra money or build an empire. You come home, pay the bills, make dinner, and the last thing you want to do is work on your website or Internet business. I decided after some thought to give it a shot and see what it could do.Man, was that a good decision! In only a few short months my site jumped from 1.8 million ranking at alexa.com to the top 1% (which is somewhere under 500K out of millions of sites). How did I do this you ask?Here’s how…1. I found a niche that worked and I was passionate about.
2. I researched it using not only their tools, but my own effort.
3. I researched keywords that were high in demand and profitability all with a few clicks.
4. I wrote and wrote page after page of quality, unique content.
At that point I let the capabilities of the software and tools do their work to get my site into the search engines and get many of my pages a number one ranking.So, how did I build so much traffic in such little time and for free?Simple- I wrote articles just like this one.
I utilized the tools to get into top spots at search engines.
I created tons of quality content rich pages that were unique to other sites.
I participated in link exchanges with other sites that also provide value to my visitors.
I threw some words of wisdom into various forums and discussion groups.
I signed up for RSS feed so that my visitors would be able to keep up with what’s going on.
I enlisted my site at free directories that drive targeted traffic to your site.And on and on…I haven’t even started my e-zine yet or tried other marketing methods such as,
p-p-c advertising, press releases, more content and so forth.There is a ton of great information online and at this site about marketing your business. If you are like me and have limited time due to family, job, other activities and such, then you need to find systems to help you create more income.Does it take work? Yes. Are there times when you’d rather sit on the couch and do nothing? Yes. Are the tools I use excellent? Yes. Can I do it myself? Yes, but why would I when I can do it faster and more effective using tools already out there. In fact, I am already in the works to start one and maybe two more sites and now others are wanting to find out how I’ve done it.Anyhow, I hope this article has shed light on how you can build high quality traffic to your website for free.
