Simply Tiffany Taite was founded by Tiffany Whitchurch, the mother of five children who were all two and under when Tiffany decided to launch her own company. Having retired from a successful Silicon Valley career, Tiffany was determined to create a business that would allow her to be a stay-at-home mom and teacher to Hunter, Parker, Chandler, Spencer and Sayler. Her background in the high tech industry led her to believe that her business would entail an electronic invention of some kind, but it turned out that her true calling was literally right under her nose. Tiffanys lifelong love of pearls and her desire to find tasteful jewelry for her first daughter, Chandler, led to the creation of Simply Tiffany in July 2000. Simply Tiffany offered beautiful and affordable pearl and sterling silver bracelets and necklaces and Tiffany quickly became a success as one of the few known jewelry designers for children. Believing that gifts should given from outside in, Tiffany pays as much attention to her packaging as she does to the gifts it contains. Her attention to detail led to the introduction of Simply Tiffanys gift line in November 2002. Showered with requests for the pewter and silver display pieces she used at a show and recognizing the difficulty of finding high quality, traditional baby gifts, Tiffany decided to begin manufacturing and selling the pieces.
